1. How do I register LeapFTP?

You register LeapFTP by buying a license from our order page.

To complete registration, you need to enter your name and serial number, which can be found at the bottom of the order confirmation e-mail, into the Help | Registering or Help | Enter Registration Data dialog box.

2. Why do I get 'Invalid key' when I enter my registration code?

Your registration code must be entered exactly. We recommend that you copy+paste your registration code directly from your order confirmation e-mail, and ensure that no extra characters or spaces are before or after the code.

3. Is LeapFTP Y2K compliant?

Yes, LeapFTP is Year 2000 (Y2K) compliant. See our Y2K statement for complete details.

4 What operating systems does LeapFTP work with?

LeapFTP is compatible with Windows 95, 98, 98: Second Edition, ME, NT 4.0 (Server and Workstation), 2000, and XP (Home and Pro).

5. Does LeapFTP support transfers between two servers?

No, LeapFTP does not currently support this feature. We are adding this functionality in future versions.

6. Do you offer quantity discounts for LeapFTP?

Yes, we offer discounts for five (5) or more licenses. Please e-mail sales@leapware.com for a quote.

7. I bought an older version of LeapFTP. How do I upgrade it?

You can upgrade an existing registered copy by downloading the latest version and installing it over your existing one. Your sites, preferences, and registration data will be saved.

8. Why don't I see any files when I connect to a server?

This can happen for one of two reasons. Either the directory your are in contains no data, or LeapFTP is not compatible with the server you are on. If the site allows public access, please contact us with the site address so we may resolve this problem.

9. I bought LeapFTP, but it still says its unregistered

You must enter your license data into LeapFTP in order to complete registration. To do this, select the Help | "Enter Registration Data" main menu option, and enter your username and registration code found in your order confirmation e-mail. Click OK to complete registration.
